Established in 2013 to honor the memory and legacy of Ray Murski. Who was Widely known for his passion for fishing and the outdoors, Ray was considered a friend to everyone who shared those interests.

The award is reserved only for individuals whose lifelong contributions to the sport merit exceptional recognition.

Ray SCott

The first recipient was Ray Scott, honored in 2013 during the Hall of Fame induction ceremony. In a special moment, Murski’s wife, Mandy, presented him with the award.

Johnny Morris

In 2017, Johnny Morris was recognized with the honor during the Hall of Fame induction banquet. Hall of Fame board member Amanda Murski presented the award in front of fellow inductees, marking another milestone moment for the award.

Rick Clunn

Most recently, Rick Clunn received the recognition. His Bassmaster tournament career spanned more than six decades and over 500 events, with wins across five different decades. Clunn stepped away from Elite Series competition following the 2024 season, closing one of the most enduring careers in the sport.
